The Hardtop Bimini

Hard top bimini fit on Aura 51, Tanna47, Elba 45 and Astrea 42



Construction:

  • Light-weight composite sandwich with Divinicell foam core.
  • Top surface high gloss INEOS Maxguard gelcoat RAL9016.
  • PVC core and fiberglass reinforcement is CNC cut on our router.
  • Composite is build by RTM ECO technology to limit on minimum consumables and waste.

Details:

  • All edges are well finished.
  • sliding hatch includes teak handle and custom sealing and end cups.
  • Hella LED light can be red/white or blue/white.
  • Grey plexiglass fix and sliding.

Dimensions:

  • weight including sliding PMME glass and fix is 42kg
  • length 2,6 m
  • width 1,9 m

Option:

  • 3rd fix window above piano area (picture)

Enclosure option:

  • For cat launched in La Rochelle (FRA) we can recommend pass by Uchimata service for installation and Voilery Klein for creating enclosure (summer and winter option).
  • Installation is also possible to do in 1day by our simple manual and 2-3 people.

About Us

We are a small family business in Brno, crazy about yachting. The head of our company is Milan Koláček, a former professional competitor (what it is not still can be) and representative of the Czech Republic in solo yachting in the mini and figaro class.

In 2006-2008, he was Skipper of a luxury 70 ft yacht (prototype) in Ireland. In 2008, he decided to go solo yachting with the dream of building his own racing special. So he went to New Zealand, where he started working at the well-known Cookson Boats shipyard.

After gaining enough experience in a New Zealand shipyard, he managed to build himself a full-carbon racing special Class Mini 650 Follow me (designed by naval architect Sam Manuard), on which he won the French champion in yachting in 2012.

Milan has completed 3 races across the Atlantic and countless other races. He spent 10 years in Lorient, Brittany, where, in addition to racing, he prepared state-of-the-art racing yachts for the Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne, Spindrift Racing and Actual teams.
